The firm represents lending institutions in loan collection and foreclosure actions, bankruptcies, and defense of lender liability actions and counterclaims. The firm also represents corporations and other entities in the oil and gas industry in landowner and royalty owner actions, take-or-pay litigation, well blowout cases, personal injury actions, property damage and pollution claims, bankruptcies, joint interest billing disputes, gas imbalance disputes, and similar contractual disputes. The firm also engages in commercial foreclosure actions and lawsuits involving liens under the Louisiana Oil Well Lien Act, as well as all additional types of general commercial litigation.
